Omaha scouting report: The Lancers (31-9-4) kick off the first of their back-to-back three-game weekends with a trio of contests against teams from Iowa. ... Omaha lost its last games against Dubuque, Waterloo and Des Moines, all at Ralston Arena. ... Forward Jake Randolph is the first player in the USHL this season to reach 70 points after getting two assists in Friday's 7-5 victory at Lincoln. The UNO recruit now has 19 goals and a league-leading 51 assists. ... Omaha's power play has surrendered just one short-handed goal this season. ... The Lancers are second in the USHL in penalty kills at home (.904) and first on the road (.884) and overall (.895).

Scouting Dubuque: The Fighting Saints (26-12-3) are third in the Eastern Conference with 55 points. ... Forward Seamus Malone leads the USHL with four short-handed goals. ... Dubuque has the USHL's best home power play at .250. ... Alexx Privatera ranks second among defensemen in the league in assists (27) and points (34) and is tied for the lead in power-play assists (15).

Scouting Waterloo: Since their all-time USHL winning streak of 16 games ended, the first-place Black Hawks (32-7-3) are 0-2-2 the past four games. ... Goalie Cal Petersen leads the league in wins (23), is third in saves percentage (.920) and fourth in goals against (2.32). ... Waterloo leads the league in goals (168), assists (289), points (457), power-play goals (50), power-play percentage (.243) and shots on goal per game (40.1).

Scouting Des Moines: The Buccaneers (16-21-5) are fifth in the Western Conference with 37 points. ... Defenseman Ruslan Rakhmatov is tied for third in the USHL with seven major penalties. ... Forward Tanner Karty is tied for first in the league with four shootout goals. ... Des Moines allows the second-most shots on goal per game (36.9).
