A Sidney, Iowa, pastor has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl over the course of several months in 2013, according to Sidney police.
Officers arrested Roger C. Kissel, 66, of Sidney on Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree sexual abuse, lascivious acts and indecent exposure, according to a press release from the Sidney Police Department.
Kissel is pastor of the Sidney Cowboy Church, said Police Chief Austin Richardson. The alleged acts are not connected to the church, he said.
He is being held at the Fremont County Jail on $31,300 bond. He declined to comment Thursday.
