Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra never shared the stage.
Friday, you can catch the next best thing: a tribute to the two crooners featuring Sharon Owens and Sebastian Anzaldo.
“The Concert That Never Was” is a show by Anzaldo, an Omaha native, and Owens. Both have perfected their tribute acts over the years, and the Streisand/Sinatra tribute has a recurring spot at the Riviera in Las Vegas.
Owens and Anzaldo’s show has been going for about 10 years, and they have performed in Omaha several times.
The only time Sinatra and Streisand worked together was on a duet of “I’ve Got a Crush on You,” but the song was created in separate sessions.
Catch the duo Friday night at 7 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 202 S. 20th St. Call 402-342-1300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for tickets.
