“American Idol,” 7 to 9 p.m., Fox (new)

The singers continue in Hollywood, taking part in solo and group performances.

“Criminal Minds,” 8 p.m., CBS

Because it wasn’t heartbreaking enough when Hotchner heard his wife killed by The Reaper over the phone, in this episode he has visions of his late wife after experiencing complications from being stabbed by The Reaper himself.

“Nova,” 8 p.m., PBS (new)

Learn about the 15th century dome that tops the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, Italy. For one, it’s made of 4 million bricks. For another, it’s taller than the Statue of Liberty. Modern bricklayers experiment with how it was made using tools and techniques of the time. In case you’re wondering, it’s pretty remarkable that they were able to do that.

“Ghost Hunters,” 8 p.m., Syfy (new)

The TAPS team heads to Ohio, where they investigate the 1896 case of a woman who killed her entire family.

“Super Fun Night,” 8:31 p.m., ABC (new)

Kimmie is excited about her first Valentine’s Day with a boyfriend, but her work at the law firm could put a damper on her plans.

“American Pickers,” 9 p.m., History (new)

Mike and Frank are “freestyle” picking in Kansas when they come upon a location that will quickly fill their empty van.

“House Hunters International,” 9:30 p.m., HGTV (new)

A couple search for a winter getaway in Mexico, but they can’t agree on what style of home they want or how much to spend. Those should be easy issues to overcome, right?
