West Omaha's getting a Blatt; Lincoln's getting a Blue Sushi
By Sarah Baker Hansen / World-Herald staff writer

Flagship Restaurant Group is bringing Blatt Beer and Table to west Omaha and Blue Sushi to downtown Lincoln.

Flagship spokeswoman Megan Longo said the west Omaha Blatt will be adjacent to the Baby Blue Sushi location in the Shops at Legacy and is expected to open in July. The downtown Lincoln Blue will be in the Haymarket, at 808 R St., adjacent to the Marriott, and will open in early May.

Both locations are well under construction, Longo said.

The west Blatt will have a similar look and feel of the one in north downtown, as well as the same menu. Longo said the restaurant is exploring making its own bread and sausage for both locations.

In Lincoln, Blue will have an updated look with screen-printed wood murals and images of Japanese subway maps. The menu will be the same as the Omaha locations.

Both the new Blatt and Blue will also have the same popular happy hour specials as the existing restaurants.
