Spenner wins triple jump to lead UNO

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Sami Spenner won the triple jump to lead the UNO track and field team at the second day of competition at the Jack Jennett Invitational.

A day after winning all five events of the pentathlon, Spenner’s leap of 40-6 easily outdistanced her competition. Ashley Kildow was the next highest placer for UNO on Saturday. She finished third in the mile run in 5:14.28.

UNO next competes Saturday at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet in Vermillion, S.D.
