ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Nebraska men's track and field team won the nine-team New Mexico Collegiate Invitational Saturday, while the Husker women finished second.
Sophomore Oladapo Akinmoladun won the men's 60-meter hurdles in a personal-best 7.69 seconds. His mark is the second-best time in Husker history. Patrick Raedler won the long jump with a leap of 24-11.
Kadecia Baird led the women, winning the 400 meters in 53.59. The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Chantal Duncan, Mara Weekes, Shawnice Williams and Baird finished first, running a season-best time of 3:38.59.
Nebraska hosts the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational next weekend at the Devaney Center.
