A woman sought by Omaha police in connection with an unsolved homicide turned herself in Friday and was interviewed by detectives.
Sydni Powe, 22, was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.
Her image was recorded by a security camera about an hour after the Dec. 15 slaying of Janee Hadan. Police allege that Powe used Hadan’s credit card to buy gas.
Hadan, a 24-year-old preschool teacher, was shot outside Passion Lounge, a nightclub near 108th and Q Streets. She died at Creighton University Medical Center.
Police did not say if Powe was present at the shooting, which also injured two men.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 402-444-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
