Oxide featured in AIGA's 100 Years of Design for voting ballot project

Omaha-based design firm Oxide Design Co. has been featured in AIGA's "100 Years of Design," a collection of significant contributions to graphic design over the past century. The interactive site was launched this week by the association and shares the stories behind important graphic design like the UPC barcode, New York City's subway maps and iPod packaging. Oxide's featured item was a paper and electronic voter ballot design assessment, created in partnership with Design for Democracy. Its goal was to research best practices for making the voting experience clearer, more understandable and more trusted. It can be found by clicking the pink plus sign on the bottom left of this page. Oxide Design has done Big Omaha's branding and worked with a number other tech companies, such as Quantam WorkplaceTripleSeat and Global Geek Week. — Source: AIGA's Celebrate Design.
