Next time your head starts to pound, skip the medication and fool around instead. Research out of the University of Munster in Germany suggests sex is a successful pain-reliever.
Researchers sent a questionnaire about sexual activity to 1,000 people who suffer from migraines or cluster headaches. (Cluster headaches strike suddenly with intense pain and last for several weeks.)
Of those who were sexually active during an attack, six in 10 reported migraine pain-relief, and 37 percent of those with cluster headaches said their symptoms improved.
