Westroads Mall has a new shoe store on the way.

House of Hoops by Foot Locker, a new concept that sells “basketball sneakers and apparel inspired by the world’s best players,” will open at Westroads in the fall, Senior General Manager Jim Sadler said. It will be located near J.C. Penney and next door to H&M’s future space in the center court on the second floor.

H&M will take possession of and begin remodeling its 18,000-square-foot space in July, Sadler said. The store is scheduled to open in the fall.

Sadler said the mall’s multimillion-dollar remodel, which began last summer, is to be completed by August. The next step is laying new polished porcelain tile on all three levels.
