A Sunday trip to the art museum just got a little bit easier. Joslyn Art Museum has changed its hours. The museum will now open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, which will give museum attendees an extra two hours.
The Joslyn is now open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday but Mondays and Thursdays. It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and closed on Mondays.
Contemporary art exhibit "Legacy: The Emily Fisher Landau Collection," will close on Sunday. "Poseidon and the Sea: Myth, Cult, and Daily Life," a look at the god Poseidon, will replace it on Feb. 8.
The museum's permanent collection galleries of modern and contemporary art in the Pavilion will also close on Monday. They will reopen in March with some new acquisitions.
