The Furniture Place & Kidz Kastle at 9421 Q St. has closed.

Kidz Kastle, a children’s consignment store that offered clothing, toys, strollers and children’s furniture, has closed along with The Furniture Place, which offered new and used furniture. Both stores were under the same roof.

Phone calls and emails to the stores’ owner, Furniture Enterprises of Omaha LLC, were not returned.

The 16,200-square-foot storefront, located near 96th and Q streets, is now for lease, a real estate agent with the Lund Company said.

It is unclear if the store has moved or if the owner plans to re-open elsewhere.
