Man injured during Boston Marathon bombing engaged to his nurse

A man who suffered injuries during the bombing at the Boston Marathon in April is engaged to one of the nurses he met during treatment, according to a Boston TV news station.

James Costello, of Malden, Mass., proposed this month in France to Krista D'Agostino, the station reported. D'Agostino was a nurse at the hospital where he recovered from burns on his arm and leg.

“I'm happy to announce that we will spend the rest of our lives together,” he wrote on Facebook. “I now realized why I was involved in the tragedy. It was to meet my best friend, and the love of my life.”
