A homicide victim whose body was found in Washington County was killed in Omaha, authorities said Wednesday.
The investigation into the death of Delbert J. Freemont, 52, has determined he was killed within the city limits, said Lt. Darci Tierney, an Omaha police spokeswoman.
She said police and Washington County sheriff’s deputies are conducting a joint investigation.
Freemont’s body was discovered Dec. 9 in a ravine in Washington County. The Omaha police homicide unit searched Freemont’s home Tuesday near 40th and Blondo Streets.
