Does outlet shopping make you hungry?
The Burger Star and Big Cheese restaurants under construction at Nebraska Crossing Outlets in Gretna are expected to open Dec. 16, said Greg Cutchall, president and chief executive of Cutchall Management Group, the restaurants' owner.
Burger Star, which is relocating to the Gretna outlet center from its original location at 72nd and Pacific Streets, will offer beef burgers, fresh-cut fries, milkshakes and up to 18 beers on tap.
Big Cheese, a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich eatery, will offer an assortment of sandwiches, soups, salads, bakery goods, and a selection of wines.
The two restaurants, located next to Subway, will share the same 4,500-square-foot space, seating and patio area, but will have separate service counters.
Cutchall, who is also coordinating construction of Pieocracy Pizza, the build-your-own pizza, build-your-own-salad, restaurant, expects that spot to open in January.
