Omaha-based Lodo Software announced it has received $3 million in mezzanine, or expansion, financing, led by nonprofit Invest Nebraska and startup consulting firm Treetop Ventures.
The financing will be used for sales and marketing efforts and development of new product features.
Lodo Software’s signature product is D3 Banking, which helps banks provide financial services that are accessible across several platforms including smartphones, tablets and computers.
“The companies we seek to invest in have validated their product in the market, and Lodo Software is no exception,” said Mark Crawford, CEO and Investment Manager at Invest Nebraska, in a prepared statement. “Lodo saw the need for this type of unified solution and moved quickly to fill that void.”
William Fisher, a Partner at Treetop Ventures, agrees. “It is clear that Lodo Software is ideally positioned for compelling success,” Fisher said in a prepared statement. “We are eager to continue supporting Lodo as part of our growing portfolio of Nebraska technology startups.”
