Warren Buffett auctions have raised millions for good causes, and now it's the Goodfellows' turn.
Starting next Sunday, you can bid for a special connection with Buffett and The World-Herald.
For two auction winners, Buffett will personalize and sign copies of “The Oracle & Omaha: How Warren Buffett and His Hometown Shaped Each Other,” a World-Herald book by reporter Steve Jordon.
A bonus: If you want the author's autograph, we'll throw that in, too.
The weeklong auction will close at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15. Details will be posted on Omaha.com in the contests section and with Goodfellows reports in the Need to Know section.
The book chronicles Buffett's connections with his hometown, from his childhood through the present day, through interviews and World-Herald archives.
Auction proceeds will help Goodfellows provide one-time emergency aid during the year and grocery certificates for the needy during the holidays.
