PERU — Tickets are now on sale for Peru State College’s annual Holiday Madrigal Dinner events.
The dinners on Friday and Saturday will provide a look back at the 16th century, with music, drama and humor. The dinner includes roast pork, chicken, new roasted potatoes, a vegetable medley, French onion soup, a salad and a trio of desserts.
Attendees will also get to see an after-dinner concert by the Madrigal Singers, fun with a court jester, performances by the Peru State recorder ensemble and a presentation of a newly composed opera.
The event at the Student Center is open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person.
Reservations can be made by contacting Peru State music professor Thomas Ediger at 402-872-2253, 402-872-2237 or email@example.com.
