Traffic was slowed Saturday afternoon near 42nd and Leavenworth Streets when a pickup truck hauling a garage collided with a minivan, police said.
The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Leavenworth Street just west of the intersection.
The white Chevrolet minivan was westbound on Leavenworth when it collided with the eastbound garage.
Two adults and two children were inside the minivan, but nobody was injured. The minivan had a damaged left fender and bumper.
The pickup hauling the garage was being escorted by two vehicles — one in front, one in back — with flashing lights. The pickup had to steer around parked cars on Leavenworth right before the crash.
Police ticketed the pickup driver on suspicion of driving left of center.
The garage, damaged along the left side, was moved off the street about 2:40 p.m., and normal traffic resumed.
