Eve, the Grammy award-winning rapper and songwriter who was scheduled to perform at 6 p.m. Thursday as part of a larger VIP event at Nebraska Crossing Outlets in Gretna has canceled the performance.

Eve will not be able to attend the event because of a scheduling conflict. “She will be in London that day,” said the shopping center developer, Rod Yates of OTB Destination.

Other invitation-only, VIP events scheduled for Thursday night, including a fashion show, will go on as planned.

The $112 million outlet shopping center at Interstate 80 and Highways 6 and 31 opens to the public Friday at 10 a.m.
