The new Gunderson's Jewelers store will hold a ribbon-cutting and grand-opening ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday at its Village Pointe location, which opened last week.
This is the Sioux City, Iowa-based jeweler's first Nebraska location. The new 6,000-square-foot Village Pointe store is located just off the center court and across from Bravo! Cucina Italiana restaurant.
Gunderson's carries diamond and gemstone jewelry and engagement and anniversary settings, and designer jewelry and watches. The bridal department features crystal pieces, vases and gift ware.
The retailer encourages customers to work directly with its trained staff to design one-of-a-kind jewelry. Gunderson's features an open layout, allowing visitors to watch the store's jewelry craftsman at work.
“We want our customers to consider shopping at Gunderson's as fun and relaxing,” said Brian Gunderson, the company's third-generation owner.
