The Midlands Community Foundation is making preparations for its annual Reflection Ball to be held Jan. 18 at the La Vista Embassy Suites.
The foundation announced the honorary chair couple and committee Oct. 7 for its 2014 marquee fundraiser.
The honorary chairs are Guy and Toni Schropp. Dr. Guy Schropp is an obstetrician/gynecologist who has delivered babies at Midlands Hospital for the past 24 years. Toni Schropp was on last year’s Reflection Ball committee along with other volunteer efforts.
The event chair is Jill Govier. The committee also includes Kyle Black, Brenda Carlson, Jan Davis, Tami Field, Bindy Frederick, Mary Gawecki, Mary Beth Harrold, Patricia Iske, Carrie Krist, Bonnie Miller, Marlo Monico, Karla Rupiper, Leanne Sotak, Ken Summerfield, Donna Wilcox and Kris Zey.
The annual Reflection Ball generates financial support for nonprofit organizations that provide programs and services in Sarpy and Cass counties.
Midlands Community Foundation supports organizations in Sarpy and Cass counties with an emphasis on prevention and education in the areas of health, art, culture, community, education, economic development and human services.
