One of the girls injured in a crash near Gretna last week has been released from the hospital and moved to a rehab center.
Madeline Shely, 16, was moved to Lincoln's Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital on Thursday, said Madonna spokeswoman Molly Nance.
Nance said Madeline is conscious and making progress. It's unknown how long she'll be at Madonna, she said.
The other girl injured in the crash, Carly Anne Kelly, 15, remained in critical condition Friday at the Nebraska Medical Center.
Madeline was the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a crash at 180th Street and Nebraska Highway 370 on Oct. 11.
Nate LaFave, 15, a student at Elkhorn Mount Michael, died in the crash.
Nate was honored Friday night at a football game between Mount Michael and Elkhorn South.
Elkhorn South students wore red, one of Mount Michael's colors. Cheerleaders sported red pompoms. Even students who painted themselves for the game went with red.
Mount Michael students wore black, the school's other color.
