Dodge Street will be resurfaced from 52nd Street to Turner Boulevard beginning Sept. 16, resulting in traffic changes and detours.
The project is one of 11 state highway road maintenance projects scheduled to run through the Omaha metro area. In July, Mayor Stothert and Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman announced about $6.4 million in state funds would be allotted to repairing and maintaining Omaha-area roads.
A press conference has been scheduled for Tuesday to further explain the project, according to a release from the Mayor's Office.
Representatives from city, including from public works and public safety, along with Metro Transit and the Department of Roads are scheduled to participate.
