What to watch: 'The Green Mile' on AMC

“The Green Mile,” 7 p.m., AMC (1999)

Michael Clarke Duncan is a prison inmate with unusual abilities and Tom Hanks is his guard in this Oscar-winning adaptation of a Stephen King story.

“Shrek,” 7 p.m., TBS (2001)

Watch the lovable green ogre fall in love all over again in this animated spoof of fairy tales. With the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz.

“America's Next Top Model,” 8 p.m., CW (new)

Before the models shoot a fragrance commercial with a twist, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton leads them in a fashion journalism challenge. We use “journalism” here loosely, of course.

“Say Yes to the Dress,” 8 p.m., TLC (new)

A bride who has cancer brings three generations of her family with her, while another brings only her mother to her first fitting.

“Ghost Adventures,” 8 p.m., Travel (new)

The guys tour the abandoned Tuolumne General Hospital in Sonora, Calif.

“Side by Side: The Science, Art and Impact of Digital Cinema,” 9 p.m., PBS (new)

Some of the most successful filmmakers — including George Lucas, David Lynch, Steven Soderbergh and Christopher Nolan — debate the merits of celluloid vs. digital film.

“What Not to Wear,” 9 p.m., TLC (new)

Stacy and Clinton give us their top 10 list of rules for the fundamentals of style. If “have the right undergarments” isn't on there, I'll eat my hat.
